Keeping People Connected
The Community Furniture Store is collecting unwanted IT devices for refurbishment.
We work alongside other agencies in the city to give more people access to services most of us now take for-granted. All equipment should be in working order. Devices will be fully wiped (certificate provided) and all data removed before being setup for the needs of the new user. Users are referred by City of York Council’s Welfare Benefits team and receive the equipment free of charge.
You can drop off devices at:

Did you know ...
Living in York don’t have digital access. Many of these are people that are living alone or on a low income – older people, people that are homeless, people with disabilities, etc.
