CFS York Recruiting for Operations Manager

Due to reorganisation CFS York is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager who will work closely with the Store Manager and other staff to manage and oversee operations in the Store’s two warehouses.  This will include managing a small team carrying out deliveries and collections, processing donated items, and arranging stock movement between the two buildings.  You will need to be well organised, effective at planning and scheduling work, and able to think on your feet to deal with the wide variety of issues that may emerge.  You will have a proven experience of managing health and safety in a similar environment, and should have experience of managing or supervising staff.  Above all you should have a commitment to the aims of the charity and be prepared to go the extra mile for the people we support.

The store offers volunteer and training opportunities to local people finding it difficult to gain employment and all staff are expected to work with and support volunteers and trainees.
