We  encourage people to think how items they no longer want can be re-used rather than thrown away to add to landfill. The Store  seeks  donations of re-usable furniture and other household goods.  We can now increase the value of your donation through Gift Aid.

Based at the former SOFA warehouse, the Store is open to the general public and sells a wide range of items. To help people most in need, which is another of our charitable aims, discounted prices are available for households on low incomes.

We are looking for local volunteers to help  run the Store.

Volunteer opportunities exist in customer service, stocking and arrangement of the sales area and warehouse, collections and deliveries of goods, repairs, revamping and testing of items.

Our main aims for volunteers are to build confidence and improve self-esteem, providing experience and inspiring good work habits for those seeking employment. We are also seeking older volunteers who may be feeling isolated or lonely, but who have valuable skills to share.
